Caravel is a large main season Nantes type. The smooth, cylindrical 18-21cm (7-8") roots are quick to size up with the potential to grow even larger. Blunt tips and are resistant to cracking.

Their strong tops are tall and firmly attached, making harvesting an easier task. These carrots have smooth, orange skins, creating attractive bunches on the market table.
